This is a very important message regarding requirements for continuation of food distribution services from Blue Ridge Unified School district.
Food service and transportation have teamed up once again to deliver breakfast and lunch meals to all children in the community for the last two weeks of the summer vacation before our online school session starts August 10th. Food may still be picked up at the regular days, time and location at Blue Ridge Elementary School.
Beginning Monday July 27th our buses will be running routes 4 hours later than the traditional elementary student pick up times to deliver a breakfast and lunch meal Monday through Friday to all children! This program will run through August 9th and will include meals for Saturday and Sunday.
We will be practicing social distancing during our deliveries so please be sure to allow for the proper distance between individuals as you arrive and please be sure to wear a mask to pick up the meal.
LASTLY, PLEASE READ THE INSERT THAT WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE MEAL BAGS REGARDING THE DISTRICT’S TITAN ONLINE MEAL PROGRAM THAT WILL NOW ALLOW PARENTS TO ACCESS THEIR STUDENTS LUNCH ACCOUNTS. PLEASE NOTE THAT BEGINNING AUGUST 10TH USDA WILL ONLY ALLOW OUR DISTRICT TO DELIVER TO STUDENTS WHO ARE ENROLLED AND QUALIFIED FOR THE MEAL PROGRAM UNDER THE FREE/REDUCED OR PAID CRITERIA. IT IS CRUCIAL FOR PARENTS TO VISIT THE TITAN WEBSITE AND FILL OUT A MEAL APPLICATION NOW TO ENSURE DELIVERIES CONTINUE FOR THEIR CHILD DURING THE ONLINE LEARNING EXPERIENCE THIS SCHOOL YEAR.
