Important Information Re: Drug Enforcement Agency Notice

Blue Ridge Parents:

I’ve learned that some Arizona teenaged students are exposed to a dangerous counterfeit drug (street name M30) sold as oxycodone but suspected to contain deadly fentanyl. Teenagers all across Arizona are dying from the use of this dangerous narcotic.

Please inform your children about the dangers associated with drug use. The link below connects to the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), which contains essential information: https://www.dea.gov/press-releases/2019/02/11/dangerous-fentanyl-masked-counterfeit-oxycodone-20000-pills-seized-bronx

Importantly, if you need resources to talk to your adolescent and teenage kids, use this link to help guide your conversations: https://educateempowerkids.org/

Respectfully,
